Who is responsible
Polarpixellantern Learning Ltd, 46 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, D02 VY60, Ireland, CRO 793628, is responsible for personal data it processes in connection with this website and related correspondence. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or rights requests.
Browsing and technical information
The website itself does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, third-party fonts or embedded social media. Images are requested from the website’s own location. Delivering pages necessarily involves technical information such as your IP address, requested resource and browser request headers. Hosting infrastructure may maintain access or security logs to operate and protect the service.
Where such technical information is processed under our responsibility, the purpose is reliable delivery, troubleshooting and security, on the basis of legitimate interests. It should not be retained longer than necessary for those purposes, except where required for a specific legal or security matter. This notice does not assert a fixed log-retention period that the website code cannot establish.
The message-writing tool
The Contact page constructs a draft inside your browser. It has no submission endpoint and does not transmit field contents to us. The website code does not save the draft in localStorage. Your browser may independently offer autofill or restore page state under its own settings.
Copying places the draft on your device’s clipboard when supported and permitted. Downloading creates a text file on your device. Clipboard synchronisation, downloaded files and shared-device access are controlled by your device and applications. Remove sensitive drafts from those locations when no longer needed.
If you send an email
When you send an email, we receive the information you include, normally your email address, message, name if provided and email metadata. We use it to read and respond to enquiries, assess corrections and maintain necessary correspondence. The usual basis is our legitimate interest in operating an information resource and handling requested communication. If correspondence is necessary for a contract or legal obligation, the relevant basis may instead apply.
We keep correspondence only while needed for the enquiry, relevant editorial records or a legal requirement. We review continued need rather than retaining messages indefinitely by default. Please do not send health information, confidential player records, identity documents or safeguarding case details unless a lawful and appropriate process has first been agreed.
Storage and service providers
The optional preference control stores a simple setting in your browser. See the Cookies page for the exact key and removal instructions. It does not contain your contact draft.
Hosting and email services may process technical information or correspondence to deliver their services. We do not sell personal data or use it for behavioural advertising. Any processor arrangements or international transfers for services under our control must use applicable data-protection safeguards, including an appropriate transfer mechanism where required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights are subject to legal conditions and are not absolute. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about visitors.
Contact us with enough information to identify the relevant correspondence; do not send unnecessary identity documents. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing personal data. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority.
